Evolution email client broken after update

Hello,
my Evolution email client has an error since the update. It seems to be the same one as here, although with a different version: https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/mail-client-evolution-does-not-show-the-content-of-a-mail/72886
which is that messages are blank. The header is displayed, but not the content. In my case, I can view the message content by clicking 'Reply'. When I do this, the text editor correctly displays the message.
To my understanding, this is something related to the Webkit GTK version and which got patched out in Evolution. Seems like my/GhostBSD version (3.44.4) is a bit outdated.

I had that issue too, and just installed Geary which is enough for me - for now. I believe a future update will probably fix it if Evolution is still supported. I have been unable to find out if it's still supported, believe it or not, since all mention of it on Gnome.org is a couple of years old. It's not a GhostBSD issue, but one probably related to an old application using a dependency (GTK4) that it can't really handle.

The issue was reported to us today, and there is a fix on the FreeBSD side. See ghostbsd/issues227

Today's update fixed Evolution, partially. It displays messages as it should, but it fails to open a "compose new message" window. I doubt it's a GhostBSD issue, rather probably a Gnome thing. Back to Geary again for the time being.
