masc Hey dear GhostBSD Community, I am new to GhostBSD and switched from Windows recently. However, when I try to install Steam on GhostBSD, the steam-install command succeeds, the steam command not whatsoever. The output is the following: Downloading libc6_2.35-0ubuntu3.8_amd64.deb from http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/... Downloading libc6_2.35-0ubuntu3.8_i386.deb from http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/... When browsing these to find the files manually, they are nowhere to find... Is there anyway to work around this? Sincerely, masc
masc UPDATE: Sorry guys, GhostBSD started to randomly uninstall packages I've previously installed... I'm sick of this, I go back to Windows. Sorry.
grahamperrin masc … GhostBSD started to randomly uninstall packages … Whilst it might feel random, there's always an explanation that's not random.
DirtDog614 Steam is easier to set up on Linux. I use BSD and Linux, both of which you may find better than Windows. I recommend you install Linux Mint if you want a seamless experience with Steam
vimanuelt Unless you're making games, playing them is just a solid strategy for staying broke. Unless, of course, you're a Steam dev, then you're getting rich off everyone else staying broke. It is nice to know GhostBSD breaks the cycle.
