General question about the system

I have been testing Ghost-BSD for 3 months. I would like to use it as a system on my main computer. My questions: Do I have to reinstall the system at certain intervals or is it rolling? So far I have worked with very stable Linux systems (Debian and Mandrake/BaseALT KWorkstation 11). Is the stability of Ghost-BSD similar or should I be worried? Congratulations on this great system and thank you for the answers.

I use Linux and FreeBSD.
To update GhostBSD, use the update manager.
Or in the terminal: sudo pkg update -f
sudo pkg upgrade

If you don’t take the time to create backups and test your restore process, you have reason to worry, no matter which operating system you use. Backups are the only guarantee that your data remains secure. A life without discipline is a life at risk, the same applies to computing.
