GhostBSD on virt-manager

I have been trying to install GhostBSD on Virt-Manager (qemu) on Linux without success as the mouse doesn't work. I have done some searching and it seems I need to remove a "tablet", but nowhere have I found out how to do that!
Can somebidy please help? Thanks.

I ended up using Oracle Virtualbox. It not my favourite, but at least it works. Now I just need to somehow fix the screen resolution...

What resolution are you shooting for?

I use Virtual Box and the Guest GhostBSD-XFCE desktop automatically resizes based on window, and/or fullscreen 1080p. I've never tried this before today on my GhostBSD workstation, but it's hard to tell it's a VM!!

I've got it. But my screen became unresponsive with VBoxSVGA. However VBoxVGA works.
I haven't used GhostBSD in over 5 years, and was curious as to how it had changed. I remember really liking it, but some software I needed wasn't available. And I had issues with wifi on my laptop.
One thing I have noticed is that the software store and updated are so much faster than they used to be! Last time I tried they were pretty painful to use.
I'm using the Mate version for testing, and will install the XFCE version if I decide to go with it permenantly.

I spoke too soon. It worked last night. This morning I just get Display Failure.. It doesn't matter which Graphics Controller I use: VBoxVGA, VBoxSVGA, or VMSVGA. The result is the same - display failure & system freeze.

Changing Guest settings after install may have had a negative impact on your installation.

Consider a fresh virtual install.

My VirtualBox processes were using 4+ GB of my Host memory while I exploring full screen GhostBSD-XFCE last night.

Yes the mouse setting is tricky, however I've been running Ghost XFCE in gnome-boxes on a Linux Lite host with 16G RAM and i7 CPU for quite some time now through all updates with no issues. I installed to boxes from the ISO. The mouse displays double at first but after the first click one remains. The boxes hot keys for the mouse grabbing work fine as well. You should try it in boxes.
