Snubbi According to the FreeBSD Wiki https://wiki.freebsd.org/Laptops it should be able to run with FreeBSD and so it should probably also be able to run with GhostBSD. I have tried with Secure boot on and with Secure boot off. But both times it stops immediately after it boots up. Is there anything else that needs to be set. I boot with UEFI.
ericbsd Snubbi Could be one of the settings we have by default on the GhostBSD. A lot of configuration was done to ensure the installation work on 4G of RAM, but it could interfere with newer hardware.
brianthehughes Snubbi I was reviewing the system spec… https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF/ThinkPad/ThinkPad_T14_Gen_1_Intel/ThinkPad_T14_Gen_1_Intel_Spec.pdf And would recommend checking the graphics options in the machines BIOS to either force Integrated or Discrete. The dual/blended modes are a bit of a curse. Pretty skookum (impressive) machine.
ericbsd @Snubbi, I meant that it was optimized for older hardware, which could cause some issues with newer hardware.
Snubbi brianthehughes And would recommend checking the graphics options in the machines BIOS to either force Integrated or Discret I will look into that.
