It might be replaced by lightDM since it has been added into the ports tree.

Hi,

I tried installing the Firefox plugin according to that video 'How to Watch Netflix in PC-BSD,' and I followed every single step carefully and to the letter, but in the end, I just could not get FF to run Netflix in BSD.

It won't run in Chromium either, because apparently Chromium does not have certain proprietary plugins (DRMs?) required to run Netflix.

My advice is: don't even try to get Netflix to run in BSD--it's pretty much a lost cause--however, it runs fine in most versions of Linux Chrome, though, just FYI. ;)

PS: if anyone here was able to get Netflix to run in Chromium, I'd love to hear how. The required extension Widevine does not appear to be available for BSD.
Cheers,

Mike

May be they has been removed, anyway, they were broken, and many things has been fixed since then.
Please wait a couple of days, we are going to release next (beta ?) ISOs very soon, probably a couple of days.
