Good to hear. I didn't notice your printer problem had been solved before I made my post.
Re: GhostBSD 11.0 ALPHA1 is ready!
I did forget to change the current printer manager for gnome-cups-manager.
Re: GhostBSD 11.0 ALPHA1 is ready!
I wonder if the virtual box setting does cause problem for the randomness of the startx.

If you tell me how to deactivate it I can roll a new test release and try it on my machines.ericbsd wrote:I wonder if the virtual box setting does cause problem for the randomness of the startx.

ericbsd I'm getting an Update Availabe icon but when I click on it nothing happens
Re: GhostBSD 11.0 ALPHA1 is ready!
VirtualBox is not the problem. I have been passing 2 days on the problem and I can figure what is wrong what that randomness, it is relay bad and it also occurs with XFCE but less frequently.

ericBSD, as of this post 4/21/2017, we still need the NVIDIA-375.39 driver added to the installer. The installer sees the card but says no file found!! I would help out and put it in there if I knew what the heck I was doing.

Hi Dave and thanks for your interest in and passion about the comming GhostBSD release! Please have a look here. Work is being done on this major change and once that's in place, a new alpha image can be provided (hopefully fixing all issues found so far)!dave-570 wrote:ericBSD, as of this post 4/21/2017, we still need the NVIDIA-375.39 driver added to the installer. I would suggest one change, and that is to change the background image in the default theme. With the current image you get the white text on a white area of the image with Slim. It makes it rather hard to choose desktop at login (of course, the text can be made dark).
