Where are the Openbox files?

Post by wolf-nv »

Ok guys
A question! Where are the OpenBox files found? I'm ready to do some "tweaking", but I can't find them! Also, I have some marvelous WPs that I want to use and I need to know where to put them!
Remember, I'm a "newbie" and on this subject, right now, I am at sea, with a hole in the boat!
Help!! :?

Hi,

If you want it default for all user in 3.1 put it in /usr/local/share/pixmaps/backgrounds/gnome/ and in 3.5 put it in /usr/local/share/backgrounds/openbox. For only an user it will be any were you want.

All the default config file are in /usr/local/etc/xdg/openbox and the user config file in /home/user/.config/openbox.

Again, Eric, Thank you!
I found all the files I wanted! Now after a bit of tweaking and learning more about XML, maybe I'll upload some screenshots and share!
Thanks
