Station Update Applet missing... MATE

Postby angus71 » Sun Apr 30, 2017 8:41 am

Hi all!
I'm running GhostBSD 10.3 MATE; I like this one pretty much!
But since one of the last updates the "update station"-applet seems to be lost... :(
OK there is still the possibility to use pkg update and pkg upgrade via terminal.
And all eyes are on 11.0 but perhaps someone has a hint for this problem.
Many greetings!

This is the outcome of running our own software (update-station) along with freebsd repository, and it is one of the reason why we are preparing our own repository:

http://www.ghostbsd.org/UpcomingGhostBS ... positories

The immediate fix for you is to use the command line:
Code: Select all
freebsd-update fetch install   # update the system
# reboot if needed
pkg upgrade    # update the packages
