For the repositorty, it would be nice to resume work with music making software:

LMMS
Lupp
Mixxx
Open Octave
Rosegarden

You can check http://www.freebsd.org/ports/index.html if they are there. For software in repos its a matter to port it on FreeBSD.

I can verify that LMMS is working in KDE5 but crashes on GTK systems for some reason. I can also confirm that Hydrogen, Qtractor, Ardour and Audacity work well. I haven't tested real time kernel support yet but I have a thread going on Linux Musicians .com that I will be updating soon with my audio testing on BSD.

No, it just crashes on the splash screen. I should have taken the time to figure out why but I didn't. I just installed Plasma. But it was a segfault I know that much.

Ok it might be fixed on the latest build because I wasn’t able to reproduce.
