Hi, mine is different.
When I cat my out output, ...:

# Network card configuration by Networkmgr
ifconfig_re0="DHCP"
wlans_ath0_="wlan0"
ifconfig_wlan0="WPA DHCP"
gdm_lang="en_US.UTF8"
keymap="us.iso"
hostname="****_****"

I had no trouble setting up the network on the Dell Latitude with the ipw (Intel) wireless.
However, on this Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 E-Z1522,
the available wireless networks won't display from the desktop panel.
It just leaves me an option to disable networking.

My wireless networks are only accessible from the WIFI Networks Manager from the launch menu.
This means that every time I wish to view the available networks, I have to enter my root password.
Where did I go wrong?

Update: I'm on GhostBSD, now. The 4 network bars appeared, yet, when I click on it nothing happens.

It refuse to display nearby networks from desktop panel.

device = 'AR242x / AR542x Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express)

Broadcom on FreeBSD are not well supported.
