Where is System-Config-Printer in 11.1 B1?

Hi,

I installed the 32-bit MATE version of GhostBSD11.1 B1 and can not find the printer setup utility. In older versions it was under System>Administration. I can not find the GUI for printer setup in 11.1 B1. In any event what is the Terminal command to call up the Printer Configuration System-Config-Printer?

Thanks

hi fmh,

Uhh ... package system-config-printer is missing in both arch and both flavors, I will look at 'why' upon next builds.
package system-config-printer is however available in our repos.

Thanks for reporting the problem. ;)

It is still missing in the current 11.1 64-bit Mate build. I can not find System-Config-Printer.

Any suggestions in getting a printer installed via command line to call up the GUI?

I see that now. I didn't see that when looking to setup the printer. If I had seen CUPS I would known that was the printer setup program. That one is on me.

Now I know. Thanks for pointing the obvious to me.

It depends on your printer, but for me it was necessary in addition to install the package: hplip.
Because I have an old hp photosmart
