Font difficult to read.

Font difficult to read. I just installed GhostBSD, but I can't make the font clear. I have tried every font setting, but it still has this problem. The font is not sharp, and contrast is poor. The tone varies greatly within each character. Some times almost going to white. It is almost like there is a “ghost effects” setting on it, but I can't find where that turns off.

Hello and welcome 8-)

Have you tried to change screen resolution? It could just be a problem of non-native resolution, see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_resolution

That helped. Thanks I had to try all of the screen resolutions, not just the closest ones. The font looks better and a lower panel appeared. I changed to BSD because Linux stopped supporting the old Nvidia card I have. I might need to do some work in that area.
