Looking for features, Linux seems not to offer

Hello!
I am currently not on any BSD OS, but running Linux (debian/devuan) and I am not satisfied
with the KVM hypervisor - I came here to find out, if virtualization has more features on BSD.
This is mainly, if there is a way, to pass a zfs filesystem (NOT a blockdevice) into a hypervisor
or, so far this is then different, into a jail.
I want to host users homedirs on zfs and become able to take snapshots!
Everythings else is really stonehenge.

Hi. Welcome to GhostBSD. I don't know what features you're looking for, but usually Linux has more support and features than FreeBSD, which is what GhostBSD is based on. One possible exception is ZFS support. Unfortunately I don't use a hypervisor. You can try our telegram channel. You may get a better response there. Also there are FreeBSD channels on telegram.

I want to be able to make zfs-snapshots on the
hostside and prevent me to use blockdevices.

You can use zvol as a disk with Bhyve.

Thought it - it's usual and in KVM I use this.
Wish to direct use of a hosts filesystems
(a ZFS dataset).
