I'm a noop of GhostBSD.
And I tried to install GhostBSD via USB.
First, I downloaded GhostBSD3.5-BETA3-lxde-i386.img in download page.
And cheked md5sum.
Well done.
And then burn the image to usb.
http://wiki.ghostbsd.org/index.php?titl ... tion_Tasks
And then try to boot with USB memory.
I've seen bootloader.
But after bootloader screen, I got an error message.
Too many segments in the physical address map, giving up
How can I handle it?
Happy Sunday!

Re: Too many segments in the physical address map, giving up
Hello Eric, thank you for the reply.
I've tried a few times.
1. sudo dd if=GhostBSD3.5-BETA3-lxde-i386.img of=/dev/sdb bs=1M
2. sudo dd if=GhostBSD3.5-BETA3-lxde-i386.img of=/dev/sdb1 bs=1M
3. dd bs=4M if=./GhostBSD3.5-BETA3-lxde-i386.img of=/dev/sdb && sync
- I got a 'Kernel trap 12 with interrupts disabled'.
4. Using https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer/ in windows as well.
Unfortunately, all of my works didn't work.
Maybe it's hardware problem.
I'm using ASUS UX31A. (Ivy Bridge i5 3317u, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD).
Have a nice weekdays~

Try "dd if=GhostBSD3.5-BETA3-lxde-i386.img of=/dev/sdb sz=1M && sync"

Re: Too many segments in the physical address map, giving up
I think you mean 'dd if=GhostBSD3.5-BETA3-lxde-i386.img of=/dev/sdb bs=1M && sync'.
It returned exactly same result.
I was googling a lot, and found a person who got a problem like this.
He said it works on other machine well.
I think it's hardware compatibility.
Thank you for the kind replies.
Bye~!
