I try to install Ghostbsd but ask me user name and password at the start, but it doesn't accept any username/password. What should I type?

http://wiki.ghostbsd.org/wiki/index.php ... r_Handbook or
http://wiki.ghostbsd.org/wiki/index.php ... d_and_User You set the Password and Username at install. For both "root" and the username "my_choice" at install during the process detailed in the Handbook. Does that help you some? I will have to search more to answer your question about the Live load GhostBSD. Good question there.

Can't set it when that screen was blacked out and it jumps to the opening page with Login requirements.

There's only a glimpse of the boot menu. Then a black box blots out most of that menu. Nothing to do but let it boot to the Login/PW request. "ghostbsd" is there for the default username. Now is there anyone at all who might know how to get past this? I don't need (ever) a lock screen.

Is there no standard pre-set username/pw?

I'll boot it again, third time no diff. Stuck.

Thanks

okay, it booted on the other machine.

the username 'ghostbsd' and 'return' got me past the login screen. Now to go kill that. Looks great so far. But i have two finicky systems and

the other problem on that first machine was that the mouse never worked, the keyboard only worked once.
