Fail to install ghostBSD 3.5 on vmware-9.0.2

Post by ghostbsduser »

HI everyone,

I install the latest stable ghostBSD 3.5 (GhostBSD3.5-mate-i386.iso) on vmware-9.0.2, windows 7 home basic 64-bit platform. At first it goes all right, but at some point (50+ percent completion), a dialog popups showing that the installation breaks for file copying. I repeat the installation several times without luck. Could anyone give some advice? thanks in advance.

Thanks for your rapid response. But I hear and sure that this version passed the test on VirtualBox. If so, do you know the version of VirtualBox on which the developers and QAs using? Or where can I find related information about the test platform information used by GhostBSD developers?

sincerely yours

answer the question by myself

1) Asus N56V,8GB ram, windows 7 home basic
2) VirtualBox-4.3.12-93733.exe
3) GhostBSD3.5-lxde-i386.iso or GhostBSD3.5-mate-i386.iso

confirmed
