Failed 11.1 install (with pc-install.log)

Post by webwalker »

Hi everyone,

Tried installing 11.1 and finally got it to install, but then it wouldn't boot up. Tried a re-install and could NEVER get it to go. I tried formatting the drive (sd card) but nothing will recognise it. I'm thinking the SD card went bad. What is everyone else's thoughts?

pc-install.log:

sorry for my late reply! Can you install? Any other OS on it? I am not sure that is possible to install GhostBSD on SD card I have never tried that.

erisbsd, thanks for the reply

I didn't try another distro on it, but I can't get it to show up when plugged into a card reader on my linux box. I think it's dead. I went ahead and purchased another SD card and got it to install. I had had 10.5 on that card in the past, so I know it works. I haven't had enough time to mess with it much more since I got it to install, too busy on other projects.

I guess this is considered solved then, huh. ;)
