Keyboard issue

Post by christophe60_fr »

Hello,
GhostBSD 10.3 BETA1 XFCE 64-bit.

How can I install the French keyboard and keep it enabled ?
Each time I boot, reboot or log out and log in, the French keyboard that is installed switches to English. Moreover, the "fr" that could be seen during the session in the systray switches to "us". Yet the French keyboard is still installed !
So I have to reinstall it and remove the previously installed one. Only then, the "us" icon disappears and the "fr" icon is back again and the French keyboard is usable again.
What is the solution to stabilize the thing ?

Install xfce4-xkb-plugin this might help you to set up your keyboard.
