I want to install the newest GhostBSD, and for this I downloaded the new image and want to make a live usb. However the computer reads the usbs very strangely. I wanted to take my existing GhostBSD live usb and create a new one. But the system is not able to see it. Sometimes it says it is not pure, sometime it says it has only 1.4gb but no free space, sometime it can actually see the files but has no extra space etc. The other usb it can some times see, but most often not, and have a whole rage of error codes.
However if I boot from my existing GhostBSD usb, it can see the other usb fine just fine.
Is this something that is seen before in bsd or is it a freak incident? I have really loved the stabillity of GhostBSD so far, and it has worked absolute wonders with my old comp, but this makes me a little nervous.
thanks
Ghostbsd cannot read usb
Re: Ghostbsd cannot read usb
On what OS are you try to read the usb?
Re: Ghostbsd cannot read usb
You should just be able to insert your present GhostBSD usb & dd a new image onto it.
Linux user since 1999; & now a BSD user.
