Re: switching base and building modes
I think it can be downloaded from a build, we will need to ask Joe.TrueOS-core exists only in form of sources, not as installable image, right?

Re: switching base and building modes
Switching to freebsd12-current as an intermediate step? No, why that question? Forget about TrueOS and keep our own route? TrueOS Core is not TrueOS Desktop or TrueOS server. It is an effort to fork of FreeBSD. TrueOS is TrueOS Core + pkg on top. Kind like GhostBSD 11.1 is FreeBSD + pkg on top. The...

Re: Can I run GhostBSD 11.1 on a 32-bit laptop?
I was able to do it in the past, might be still possible the whole 32bit library is in 64bit.
One of the reasons we drop 32bit is that hardware does not support modern computing.

Yeah, only our port that needs those we are going to use TrueOS freebsd-ports r...

The future of GhostBSD
For those who don't know, I am now involved in TrueOS, and I participate in all the meeting, TrueOS Core is slowly becoming a fork of FreeBSD. Most of the people know ASX started to dislike and I slowly going that direction too. With a lot of discussion with ASX and Joe, my manager, I decided that G...

Re: On ZFS becoming the only available FS
Dead weight is probably the right term for it and I understand that it got in the way. I would like to unofficially offer an i386 image with Xfce on my own webspace for people who want to play with it. Still, I wanted to ask you first - even if there's a big sign saying "There's no official su...
