Re: GhostBSD is switching it's system base

....TrueOS is becoming an embedded.... The embedded based on OpenRC, has no indication of systemd? OpenRC is linux and almost all linux has systemd. ......OpenRC will be in base, Software wise it will be similar to the previous version. It's a shame that you're moving away from the original sources...

Re: GhostBSD is switching it's system base

What I can say authoritatively is that PC-BSD did not kill DesktopBSD no matter how you choose to look at it. The PC-BSD project did not force the founder of DesktopBSD to stop making DesktopBSD. That was his decision. I think it is sad that he chose not to continue but that was his choice. Because...

Re: GhostBSD is switching it's system base

Hello, everybody!

Another system that will be devoured by these TrueOS before called PC-BSD, which happened with DesktopBSD? With the complicity, they eliminated him with one stroke of the pen because they wanted to be the only ones para graphical desktop.

I'm not complaining, it's just to report what they've stopped support for 32 bits and the possible impacts on users.

Re: i386 / 32 bit GhostBSD

Hey there, I'm new around here! I don't agree that they are considering giving up 32-bit support, understanding that the BSD family is compatible with most older 32-bit architecture computers that have less RAM memory and more software. The same would happen what happened to PC-BSD that only support...

Re: Help, observations and vulnerabilities of GhostBSD 11.1

You have to understand one thing first: pre-release ISO are made available for those who are able and want to contribute back their findings about mistkaes, bugs and so on. As any alpha/beta/rc release they are unsupported and that is usually true for every distribution out there, not only GhostBSD...

Re: Help, observations and vulnerabilities of GhostBSD 11.1

Please stop trolling! What you are using to troll is a beta release, no one in their sane mind would use alpha or beta software if security is a real concern. But if you want to ridiculize yourself, please go on. There is nothing to solve, evidently. To the open topics for help of solutions and cor...

Help, observations and vulnerabilities of GhostBSD 11.1 BETA

Hello community! GHOS.jpg It's a nice system but there are imperfections like: 1. The system presents some vulnerabilities and cannot be corrected either by the graphical update tool or by pkg update && pkg upgrade commands, for some reason the system is not built by ports. 2. The system onl...

Re: How to update applications and system files?

More than a good morning sound much like trolling. I would suggest you to use a more approriate tone, and to inform yourself before asserting the lot of nonsense you wrote above. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Have a nice day. What one has to read, just to greet and open a top...
